CUSTOMS AND LAWS

What is the dress code in the UAE?
The UAE is a Muslim country and therefore we encourage clients to have respect by wearing clothing that covers shoulders and is not too revealing. However the lifestyle in Dubai is very modern and cosmopolitan. Bikinis are allowed to be worn on the beaches and head scarves are not a requirement for women.

Ramadan
The holy month of Ramadan is a month when the Muslims fast. During this time there is no smoking, drinking or eating in public between sunrise and sunset. Many government offices take half days and more awareness of dress code is necessary.  There is still no requirement for head coverings for women.

There is no fixed date for Ramadan – it depends on the sighting of the moon.

Please contact our team for more information.
